Hot Tapping
Hot Tapping is an established method of making safe and functional connections to existing piping without emptying that section of pipe, keeping systems on-stream and under pressure. This allows the system in question to continue operating fully whilst maintenance, inspection or removal of damaged sections of pipe takes place.
AMK Inspection have over 25 years worldwide experience of the welding & inspection of fittings & attachment welds to in-service natural gas pipelines, or pipe work of minimum wall thickness of 4mm & above operating at pressures of 2Bar & above using approved Low Hydrogen welding processes.
